We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. This role requires a hands-on approach, with a focus on team management and operational efficiency.
Duties
Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff supervision, food preparation, and customer service.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
Oversee food production processes, ensuring quality control and consistency in all dishes served.
Train, mentor, and develop staff members, fostering a positive team environment.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to create menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering to minimise waste while ensuring the availability of necessary supplies.
Implement effective marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
Skills
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential.
Experience in supervising staff in a fast-paced environment is highly desirable.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
Exceptional communication skills for interacting with both staff and customers.
Previous experience in barista roles or hotel management is an advantage but not mandatory.
