Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate all restaurant activities to ensure smooth daily operations
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining high-quality standards
Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and motivate team members to deliver excellent service
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across the kitchen and serving areas
Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and manage stock control
Handle customer enquiries and resolve any complaints promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction
Implement training programmes for staff development in areas such as food production, service, and safety procedures
Maintain a welcoming environment that promotes teamwork, hospitality, and professionalism
Requirements
Proven experience in supervising within a restaurant or hospitality setting, with strong team management skills
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
Experience in food production, kitchen operations, and service roles such as serving or barista work is highly desirable
Demonstrable leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop staff effectively
Familiarity with restaurant operations, including inventory management and compliance with health regulations
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience in hotel or culinary settings is advantageous but not essential
A proactive approach with strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
