Duties
Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards.
Manage and train staff, fostering a positive team environment and promoting professional development.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Handle inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
Develop and implement menus in collaboration with the culinary team, focusing on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the restaurant through various channels.
Skills
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food production processes.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management.
Previous experience in supervising staff is essential, along with strong team management capabilities.
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences.
Background in serving or barista roles is advantageous for understanding front-of-house operations.
