We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food safety, food production, and team management. Duties
Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and customer satisfaction
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards
Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and supervise team members including serving staff and kitchen personnel
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of ingredients and supplies
Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to uphold the restaurant's reputation
Implement training programmes to develop staff skills in hospitality, food safety, and service excellence
Assist in organising special events or promotions to enhance customer engagement
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the restaurant environment
Experience
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, culinary techniques, and kitchen operations
Demonstrable team management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively
Familiarity with food safety standards and food production processes
Experience in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous
Barista or bar management experience is considered a plus
Strong leadership qualities combined with excellent organisational skills
Previous experience in serving or front-of-house roles is beneficial but not essential
