We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food safety and production. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards in food preparation and presentation.
Duties
Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain quality standards.
Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and ensuring proper storage of food items.
Implement and enforce food safety regulations to ensure compliance with health standards.
Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance while fostering a positive team environment.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors for quality ingredients.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback to enhance the dining experience.
Create staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures.
Requirements
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong supervisory experience with a focus on team management and leadership.
Culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both staff and customers.
Previous experience in serving or barista roles is advantageous.
A passion for hospitality with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
