We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. You will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring high standards of food production and preparation, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including cooks and bartenders, to ensure efficient food production and service.
Assist in the training and development of team members, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages growth and teamwork.
Oversee food preparation processes to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining quality standards.
Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
Implement marketing strategies to promote the restaurant and increase patronage.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the restaurant, ensuring all areas meet hygiene standards.
You will be responsible for overseeing the opening and closing of the restaurant, including end-of-day cash-ups and ensuring all closing procedures are completed accurately.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hotel environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Knowledge of food production techniques and culinary practices is essential.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Previous experience in bartending or knowledge of beverage service is advantageous.
