Duties
Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to quality standards.
Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service and maintain a positive working environment.
Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and best practices.
Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Develop and implement training programmes for new hires in culinary techniques and hospitality standards.
Monitor financial performance, including managing budgets and controlling costs effectively.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for resolution that enhances guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with chefs to design menus that reflect current trends while meeting customer preferences.
Skills
Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management and staff supervision.
Culinary knowledge is essential; familiarity with food preparation techniques is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and customers alike.
A solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in the hospitality industry.
Previous experience in bartending or managing bar operations is an advantage.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
