Who We Are:

A brand-new Mexican concept to London's iconic restaurant, two storey restaurant and lounge bar, themed around the Goddess of the Moon - Ixchel. We have given it our own twist and at the heart of this concept lies the charcoal grill. Ixchel will offer a full sensory experience from the second you meet the doors to our Mayan Goddess, from the interior design to the unique and delicious food that we create. Music will also play a large part in our DNA too, offering curated tunes and live DJ's. Hours of operation will be from 11am to 11pm. We are due to open our doors in the first week of October.

Who We Are Looking For:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the GM in running our restaurant operations and ensuring quality service and presentation as well as assisting in developing and managing the team. As our Restaurant manager , you will be responsible for all aspects of FOH Service . You will love to inspire and enthuse your team and be a key player in providing excellent service and exceed guests ecpectations . We are not only searching for a Senior RM but also a role model and mentor who the team can look up to and develop alongside. Responsibilities:

The RM plans, organises, controls, and directs the work of
employees while ensuring excellent guest satisfaction.

To ensure achievement of strategic departmental goals through efficient and ongoing
training methods for all Front of House staff members, especially in guest

satisfaction.

Provide a courteous, professional, attentive, and excellent service always with all
Ixchel departments and guests.

Establish and maintain a good rapport and working relationship with all Staff
Members in Ixchel and other departments as well as suppliers.

To have a complete understanding of all the restaurants service functions and
responsibilities.

Create and implement standard operating procedure documents for restaurant
functions and responsibilities.

Describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods,
as well as provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed manner.

The ability to work closely with the Operations General Manager, and other senior management team, Executive Chefs and Head Chefs.
Work closely with the Head Chef and ensure Food, Health and Safety procedures and SOPs are in place and any other related issues are championed successfully in a timely manner.

Manages daily shift operations, rotas and ensure compliance with all restaurant policies,
standards and procedures.

Provide the leadership, vision and direction to bring together and prioritise the
departmental goals in a way that will be efficient and effective.

Assist in developing, planning, and executing restaurant promotional activities and
events.

Maximise financial performance of the restaurant by driving upselling and operating
expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions as well as

inventory and cash control.

Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, and guide all employees in the division to
ensure that core standards are met and provide support for all new recruits through

on-the-job training.

The ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public
relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients,

and group contacts.

Attend and contribute to Staff Members briefings and other related activities.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 45,000.00-65,000.00 per year
