Responsibilities

Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service. Manage and train kitchen and front-of-house staff, fostering a positive team environment. Oversee food preparation and production, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and dining areas. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Implement training programmes for staff on culinary techniques, hospitality practices, and customer service. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with chefs to develop menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the restaurant environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a restaurant management role with strong supervisory experience. Background in food preparation, cooking, or culinary arts is highly desirable. Experience in team management, demonstrating effective leadership skills. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential. Previous experience in hospitality or hotel settings is an advantage. Barista experience is a plus for establishments serving coffee beverages. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of restaurant operations.
