We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and restaurant management, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Duties
Supervise and manage all restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas, ensuring high levels of performance and teamwork.
Oversee food preparation and production processes to guarantee quality and adherence to food safety regulations.
Develop and implement training programs for new hires, focusing on culinary skills, serving techniques, and customer service excellence.
Maintain inventory levels of food supplies and kitchen equipment, placing orders as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
Create staff schedules to optimise coverage during peak hours while managing labour costs effectively.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to enhance guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with the culinary team to design menus that reflect current trends while meeting customer preferences.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the restaurant environment.
Requirements
Proven experience in a restaurant management role or similar supervisory position within the hospitality industry.
Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Prior experience in food production or kitchen management is highly desirable.
Familiarity with barista duties is an advantage but not essential.
Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
