Duties
Supervise and coordinate all restaurant activities to ensure smooth operations
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring quality standards are met
Manage team members including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control effectively
Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to uphold excellent service standards
Organise staff rotas and optimise labour costs while maintaining service quality
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and presentation
Lead by example in delivering outstanding hospitality and service excellence
Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety policies
Experience
Proven supervising experience within a busy restaurant or hospitality setting
Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety procedures
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive work environment
Experience in culinary roles such as chef or kitchen supervisor is highly desirable
Familiarity with hospitality operations including serving, bar management, or hotel experience is advantageous
Knowledge of food production processes, kitchen management, and restaurant logistics
Leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Previous experience in managing food safety standards and compliance regulations
