Restaurant Manager New Opening

Central London, United Kingdom

Job Description

Restaurant Manager
Brand-New Independent Restaurant | East London
45,000 + Tips | Wednesday-Sunday * Subject to change
Ready to be part of something from the very beginning?
We're on the lookout for a Restaurant Manager to lead the opening of an exciting new independent, guest experience-driven restaurant launching in East London this April. This is a brilliant step-up role with serious long-term potential -- the group already has plans to open three more sites across London, making this a natural pathway into a Cluster or Area Manager role.
About the Group
My client is a well-established independent hospitality group with a big focus on people, progression, and doing things the right way. They're growing fast, investing in bold new concepts, and building a leadership team that can grow with the business.
Learning & development is genuinely at the heart of what they do -- if you want to progress, you'll be supported, trained, and trusted to do so.
The Role
This is a hands-on, lead-from-the-front role where you'll set the tone for service, culture, and guest experience from day one.
You'll be:
Leading and developing a passionate front-of-house team
Working closely with BOH and the wider operations team
Owning the guest journey and bringing the brand to life on the floor
Getting involved pre-opening, including travel to learn the group's operations before launch
Helping shape systems and standards that will be rolled out across future sites
The restaurant operates Wednesday to Sunday, offering a great balance alongside a high-quality service environment.
What's in It for You?
45,000 salary + tips
A key role in a brand-new opening
Real investment in training, L&D, and career progression
Clear pathway into multi-site leadership
The chance to grow with an ambitious, independent group
About You
A confident Restaurant Manager or Senior Manager ready to take the next step
Passionate about hospitality, people, and great service
Comfortable being hands-on and visible during service
A strong communicator who enjoys building teams and culture
Excited by growth, change, and new openings
