We are currently looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to manage our 40 covers Indian Restaurant located near Borough Market, London.
As a Restaurant Manager you will plan catering services, direct staff and decide on range and quality of meals and beverages to be provided and discusses customer's requirements for special occasions. You will oversee purchases or direct the purchasing of supplies and arrange for preparation of accounts, verify that quality of food, beverages and waiting service is as required, that kitchen and dining areas are kept clean and appropriate hygiene standards are maintained in compliance with statutory requirements. You will plan and arrange food preparation in collaboration with other staff and organize the provision of waiting or counter staff, check that supplies are properly used and accounted for to prevent wastage and loss and to keep within budget limit.You will Coordinate daily restaurant management operations, deliver superior food and beverage service, maximize customer satisfaction and respond efficiently and accurately to restaurant customer complaints etc.
Minimum 2 years experience in Indian Restaurant & good knowledge of Indian Cuisine
Organising staff shifts and scheduling
Working with food and drink suppliers
Working closely with the Head Chef and planning menus
Ensuring all food safety & hygiene procedures are maintained
Following all company opening and closing duties
Maintaining safe working conditions
Recruiting and staff training
Working closely with the company director to optimise revenue/ restaurant operation
