We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary management, ensuring that our restaurant runs smoothly while delivering exceptional service to our guests. This role requires a blend of leadership, organisational skills, and a passion for food and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff supervision and training. Oversee food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards. Maintain high standards of food production and presentation. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of dishes. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner. Develop staff schedules and manage team performance to optimise service efficiency. Implement marketing strategies to enhance the restaurant's visibility and attract new customers. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as necessary to maintain operational flow. Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards within the restaurant environment.

Skills

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff and customers. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in serving, food production, or barista duties is advantageous. A solid understanding of hospitality principles and customer service excellence. Previous experience in hotel or kitchen environments is beneficial.
