About the Role

We are recruiting an experienced

Restaurant Manager

for a fast growing Indian restaurant opening in Sheffield. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of daily operations, lead a team, and help shape the guest experience from the very start.

The ideal candidate will have strong front-of-house leadership experience, excellent customer service standards, and a good understanding of Indian cuisine and restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth service Manage, train and support FOH staff Handle reservations, guest enquiries, and customer service issues Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and hospitality Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to coordinate service Manage stock, ordering, supplier relationships and inventory Ensure food safety, hygiene and health & safety compliance Support marketing, promotions and local customer engagement Drive a positive team culture focused on service and efficiency

Requirements

Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager (required) Experience in Indian restaurants or multicultural dining environments (preferred) Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to manage busy service times and resolve issues quickly Excellent customer service and attention to detail Reliable, organised and confident in managing a team
