We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. This role requires a hands-on approach, with an emphasis on supervising staff and fostering a positive work environment.
Duties
Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to food safety standards.
Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest culinary standards.
Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to cooks and other team members.
Implement training programs for new employees, focusing on food safety, culinary techniques, and customer service.
Maintain inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed while minimising waste.
Collaborate with bartenders to create an appealing beverage menu that complements the food offerings.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to enhance guest satisfaction.
Skills
Strong supervisory skills with experience in managing a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in culinary techniques with a solid understanding of food preparation and presentation.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with staff and customers effectively.
Experience in bartending is advantageous but not essential; willingness to learn is key.
