We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within a busy hospitality environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness, and leading a team of staff to deliver a memorable dining experience. Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas, to ensure smooth service delivery
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards and consistency
Manage day-to-day operations, including reservations, seating arrangements, and customer relations
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety policies
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure efficient kitchen and restaurant functioning
Lead staff training programmes, fostering a positive team environment centred on hospitality excellence
Handle customer complaints professionally and promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
Organise staff schedules, optimise labour costs, and manage payroll responsibilities
Collaborate with culinary teams on menu planning and special event organisation
Skills
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong team management capabilities with excellent leadership qualities
Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food production, food safety, and kitchen operations
Skilled in food preparation, cooking, serving, and general culinary practices
Familiarity with hospitality standards across hotel or barista environments is advantageous
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
Excellent communication skills to motivate staff and engage with customers positively
Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
Knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to food service environments
