Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service standards, maintaining food safety, and leading a team of staff to deliver a memorable dining experience. This role requires strong leadership, organisational skills, and a passion for the culinary and hospitality industries. The Restaurant Manager will play a pivotal role in managing both front-of-house and back-of-house activities, fostering a positive environment for staff and guests alike.

Duties



Supervise and coordinate all restaurant activities to ensure smooth operations. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring quality standards are met consistently. Manage team members, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness. Monitor food production processes to optimise efficiency while maintaining quality. Serve as the point of contact for customer feedback, resolving any issues promptly to uphold service excellence. Organise staff rotas and manage labour costs effectively. Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop menus that appeal to guests while adhering to dietary restrictions and trends. Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships. Lead initiatives to improve guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Qualifications



Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment. Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative environment. Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards. Familiarity with culinary practices, food production, and kitchen operations. Previous experience in hospitality roles such as serving or barista work is advantageous. Leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to food service establishments. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently under pressure. A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service and culinary excellence.
