Key Benefits in Detail

1.

Outstanding Earning Potential

Our hourly rate of 60/hr for callouts sits significantly above the regional average for experienced tilers in Scotland (where rates typically range from 27-41/hr in Edinburgh and Glasgow). This ensures you're fairly rewarded for your skill, speed, and reliability--whether working solo on a late-night fix or as part of a scheduled fit-out team.

2.

Flexible Work, Varied Projects

With a blend of emergency callouts and planned, quoted jobs, you enjoy substantial flexibility:

Callout Work: Great for those who like responsive, short-notice jobs and a dynamic schedule

Quoted Projects: Ideal for larger jobs where you can plan your time, fit busy periods around other commitments, and focus on delivering quality for flagship projects

This flexibility enables a work-life balance that few traditional plumbing roles can offer, while still accessing high-value commercial opportunities.

3.

Work with Prestigious Clients

The restaurant industry is undergoing a transformation in terms of value placed on craftsmanship, durability, and fast, high-quality repairs that minimise operational downtime. Our clients are nationally recognised brands and local favourites alike, offering showcases for your portfolio and the satisfaction of supporting businesses at the heart of Glasgow and Edinburgh's vibrant cultural scenes.

4.

Reimbursed Business Travel

We acknowledge that parking, bridge tolls, and travel time are significant costs for urban tradespeople. All necessary parking and toll expenses are reimbursed as part of your monthly payment; business-related travel (outside usual area) may also be covered dependent on job specifics--ensuring you're not out of pocket for accessing city-centre and higher-traffic locations.

5.

Reliable, Transparent Payment Terms

Monthly payment, 35 days post month-end, is designed for contractor stability and cash flow, following best industry practices and Construction Act regulations for clear payment timetables. Our long-term contractor partnerships reflect our reputation for reliability and fairness.

Company History & Brand Values

Founded in London in 2016 as a specialist tiling contractor for the hospitality sector, we have earned national recognition for our expertise, attention to detail, and responsive service. Our expansion to Scotland and beyond reflects demand for our quality-focused approach and the trust we've built among restaurant groups, architects, and property managers.

Our core values:

Reliability in every job

Honest quoting and clear communication

Sustainable, long-term partnerships with our tradespeople and clients

We support diversity and inclusivity in our workforce, ensuring fair access to opportunity as required by the Equality Act and industry guidelines.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the average job duration and schedule?

Jobs range from short-notice, callout repairs (often completed in 4 - 24 hours) to larger fitted installations or refurbishments lasting multiple days. You'll have significant input into your weekly schedule, based on job type and personal availability.

Is there an on-call rota?

Callout work is typically offered to our pool of qualified contractors on an opt-in basis; you choose your availability for rapid-response jobs.

How are quoted jobs priced?
