Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience. Previous restaurant experience is preferred, but full training will be provided to the right candidate.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Provide knowledgeable recommendations to upsell menu items and enhance guest satisfaction Ensure all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards, are strictly followed Clear tables promptly and assist with setting up for upcoming service periods Handle guest queries professionally, resolving any issues promptly to ensure a positive experience Assist in food preparation or kitchen duties as needed, supporting team operations during busy periods

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards Familiarity with food preparation and basic culinary principles Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts Experience in upselling menu items to maximise sales opportunities Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Previous kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not essential
