Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring customers enjoy a memorable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems or manually as required Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in regularly and responding to any special requests or concerns Upsell menu items and specials to maximise sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables, service stations, and dining areas Follow food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times Assist with basic food preparation tasks when necessary, supporting kitchen staff as needed Handle payments accurately and process transactions efficiently Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during shifts

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or similar roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided Knowledge of food safety standards and proper serving techniques is desirable Familiarity with food preparation and kitchen procedures can be beneficial Strong organisational skills with effective time management to handle busy service periods Excellent guest service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions effectively Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
