Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and energetic front of house member to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and exceptional service throughout their dining experience. Your responsibilities will include managing guest seating, taking orders, and providing outstanding hospitality while maintaining a clean and organised environment. A passion for food and customer service is essential in creating memorable experiences for our patrons.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements efficiently. Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen staff. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and promotions. Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, kitchen, and service stations. Handle guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is essential. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary practices is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Knowledge of food safety regulations is beneficial.
