Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, taking orders accurately, and ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role offers an opportunity to work in a lively environment where attention to detail, efficiency, and excellent communication skills are essential. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided. The position is paid and suitable for individuals passionate about hospitality and guest services.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems or manually Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in regularly and responding to requests Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and maximise sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas, including tables and stations Follow food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times Assist with basic food preparation when required, adhering to health guidelines Handle payments accurately, including processing cash or card transactions Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant serving roles is advantageous but not essential Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanour Basic maths skills for handling payments and bills accurately Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Good time management skills to ensure timely service delivery Experience with upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance Culinary or kitchen experience is a bonus but not required
