Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting guests promptly and courteously.
Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all customer requests are met.
Assist in food preparation and presentation, adhering to food safety guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, kitchen, and equipment.
Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals.
Handle cash transactions with basic maths skills for accuracy.
Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn.
Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
Knowledge of culinary practices and food safety regulations is beneficial.
A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills to engage with customers effectively.
Ability to work as part of a team while also being capable of taking initiative when required.
