Duties

Provide outstanding guest services by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs promptly. Assist in food preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to our culinary standards. Maintain high levels of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen and dining areas. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food served. Manage time effectively to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Handle cash transactions accurately, applying basic maths skills for billing purposes. Support team members by helping with various tasks as needed to maintain a smooth operation.

Experience

While previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is advantageous, we welcome candidates who are eager to learn and grow within the hospitality industry. Key skills that will contribute to your success in this role include:

Strong guest services orientation with a friendly demeanour. Basic culinary knowledge and understanding of food preparation techniques. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Proficiency in basic maths for handling transactions effectively. Ability to upsell menu items confidently and enthusiastically. Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently.
