Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for culinary excellence, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and high-quality food. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing both front-of-house and back-of-house operations, fostering a positive environment for staff and patrons alike.

Duties



Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including kitchen and service teams, to ensure efficient operations. Oversee food preparation and production, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation. Implement training programmes for new hires, focusing on food safety, customer service, and operational procedures. Monitor customer satisfaction and address any concerns promptly to enhance the dining experience. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the best quality ingredients are sourced. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas. Prepare reports on restaurant performance, including sales figures, staff productivity, and customer feedback.

Requirements



Proven experience in a managerial role within a restaurant or hotel environment. Strong culinary knowledge with experience in food preparation and production. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food safety standards. Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of restaurant management. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with staff and customers. A passion for the hospitality industry with a commitment to delivering an outstanding dining experience.
