Celino's, a multi award winning Italian Delicatessen & Restaurant and much-loved resident of Alexandra Parade since 1982, is looking for a passionate, dynamic and experienced Restaurant Supervisor.
Based in the east end, approximately 2 miles from the city centre, Celino's is a very busy 40 seat trattoria, operating alongside our Deli, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week...a bustling cafe atmosphere during the day easing into a relaxed restaurant feel in the evening.

Responsibilities
You will be expected to assist the Restaurant Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of front of house activities, maintaining high standards of service and contributing to the overall success of Celino's.
You will assist our Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily restaurant operations and will be expected to:
Engage with customers and solve problems promptly in a calm manner
Achieve and maintain a warm and welcoming restaurant ambience
Evaluate feedback, devise and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction
Lead, motivate and inspire the front of house team
Delegate tasks effectively and demonstrate ability to manage rotas
Provide ongoing training and feedback for team members
Collaborate with the kitchen & deli teams to ensure seamless service
Requirements
Essential
At least 2 years' experience in hospitality role
At least 1 year experience in a supervisory role in a busy restaurant
Proven leadership abilities, able to motivate and inspire a diverse team
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a busy, high pressure environment
Strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities
Knowledge of restaurant management software
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, public holidays as required
Preferred
Experience of working in Italian restaurant and/or strong knowledge of Italian food
Food hygiene and safety certification
Personal License Holder
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 13.50-14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week
