Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Restaurant Supervisor to assist in the daily operations of our establishment In Gorseinon. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills while ensuring a high standard of food service and quality. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, enhancing customer experiences, and maintaining operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. Lead and manage a team of staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork. Maintain inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed while minimising waste. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, implementing best practices in food safety. Train new employees in serving methods, and customer service standards. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving to enhance guest satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a strong team spirit throughout the establishment.

Requirements

Proven experience in a restaurant role or similar supervisory position within the hospitality industry. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management. Previous experience in food service & barista roles. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
Please note: Although this job is based in Gorseinon the successful candidate may be asked to work a shift at either Waunarlwydd or Llanelli should cover be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 13.21 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 48 per week
