The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth service, high customer satisfaction, and efficient staff performance. This role acts as a liaison between management and front-line employees, helping to implement policies, maintain standards, and resolve any issues that arise during shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bussers during shifts.
Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns and resolving complaints promptly.
Monitor staff performance and provide guidance, support, and training as needed.
Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and shift reports.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant according to health and safety standards.
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food service.
Support inventory control by reporting shortages and assisting with stock checks.
Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and respectful work environment.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably in a supervisory role.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving abilities.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of POS systems and basic computer skills.
