We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant/Cafe Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our vibrant establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary arts, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food safety, and maintaining high standards of food production.
Duties
Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and customer satisfaction.
Manage and train staff, fostering a positive team environment and encouraging professional development.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and adherence to safety standards.
Maintain inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure efficient operation.
Implement and uphold food safety regulations, ensuring compliance with health codes.
Coordinate with kitchen staff to optimise food production and presentation.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall dining experience.
Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures.
Experience
Proven experience in a restaurant management role or similar position within the hospitality industry.
Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
Previous experience in serving or barista roles is advantageous.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff
