Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and high standards of service.
Lead and motivate the team, including serving staff, kitchen personnel, and baristas, fostering a positive working environment.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to guarantee quality and consistency in all dishes served.
Manage food safety compliance, ensuring adherence to health regulations and proper food handling procedures.
Organise staff schedules, assign duties, and monitor performance to optimise productivity.
Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control effectively.
Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure excellent guest experiences.
Collaborate with the culinary team on menu planning, food production, and presentation standards.
Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with health standards.
Monitor financial performance, including sales targets and cost control measures.
Requirements
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices.
Experience in food safety protocols and maintaining high standards of hygiene.
Familiarity with restaurant operations including food production, serving procedures, and hospitality services.
Previous experience in hotel or barista roles is advantageous but not essential.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.
