Key Responsibilities
General
Lead, motivate, and support the floor team to deliver exceptional customer service.
Provide ongoing training, feedback, and performance management.
Build repeat business through exceptional service and guest engagement.
Maximise sales opportunities by promoting upselling across food and beverage offerings.
Maintain strong product knowledge (both wet and dry).
Handle cash and payments accurately and responsibly.
Enforce company policies and disciplinary procedures where required.
Training & Development
Promote service standards by leading by example on the floor.
Ensure all steps of service are consistently followed.
Support and mentor new and existing staff in product knowledge and service delivery.
Encourage continuous improvement through feedback and coaching.
Assist with onboarding and training of new team members.
Daily Operations
Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve any issues proactively.
Engage with guests throughout service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
Communicate menu changes, specials, and unavailable items to staff clearly.
Ensure all orders are processed correctly through the till system.
Monitor floor operations and provide real-time feedback to the team.
Foster a positive, motivated atmosphere among staff to enhance both morale and service.
Oversee opening, closing, and preparation duties to ensure smooth, efficient service.
Check all bookings and pre-orders before each shift to ensure readiness.
About You
Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced restaurant or bar environment.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems efficiently.
