We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a pleasant experience while dining with us.
Responsibilities
Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and welcoming attitude.
Take accurate food and drink orders using basic maths skills to ensure correct billing.
Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and promotions to enhance guest satisfaction.
Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to during food preparation and service.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns regarding their meals.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils, to provide a pleasant environment for guests.
Assist in the training of new staff members in restaurant procedures and guest services.
Handle guest inquiries or complaints professionally, ensuring a high level of hospitality is maintained at all times.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is essential.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary standards.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and billing accurately.
A passion for providing outstanding guest services and enhancing the dining experience.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
