We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. This role requires effective leadership and team leader skills to foster a positive work environment and enhance the overall dining experience. You will do this by being a part of the team and working alongside them leading from the front.
Duties
Manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to quality standards.
Supervise kitchen staff, including chefs and food preparation teams, to ensure efficient food production.
Oversee food safety practices and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Train and mentor staff in cooking techniques, food preparation, serving procedures, and customer service excellence.
Develop menus in collaboration with the culinary team, focusing on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering of supplies to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked.
Implement strategies for improving operational efficiency and profitability while maintaining quality.
Skills
Proven experience in a restaurant management role with a strong understanding of hospitality principles.
Culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food production processes.
Supervising experience with the ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team effectively.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in maintaining food safety standards.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff and customers alike.
Experience in serving and barista roles is advantageous for enhancing guest experiences.
