Role Overview:



We're looking for a friendly, experienced hands-on restaurant supervisor to help lead the front-of-house team at our much-loved village gastropub in Cambusbarron -- the kind of place where locals know your name and visitors feel instantly at home. We're proud of our warm atmosphere, great drinks, and relaxed vibe, and we're looking for someone who shares that passion.

Key Responsibilities:



Making sure every experience is one our guests will remember; serving food and drinks with a smile. Supporting the day-to-day running of service, from cosy midweek meals to busy weekend dinners Leading by example and setting a friendly, professional tone for the team Working with the General Manager (GM) to keep things running smoothly - taking bookings, managing floor plans, dealing with any issues calmly and kindly Helping train and support junior staff, making sure everyone is confident and happy in their role Working closely with the GM and kitchen team to ensure a seamless guest experience Maintaining high standards at all times; keeping the restaurant clean and tidy, well-stocked, and everything running smoothly. Taking care of opening and closing duties as needed

Who We're Looking For:



Our ideal restaurant supervisor will have strong experience in a restaurant/gastropub and the ability to deliver great service to our guests. We're looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality, that is reliable and wants to join our growing team.

Previous supervisory or strong senior FOH experience in a restaurant or pub setting A people person - someone who genuinely enjoys customer service and can build great rapport with both guests and team members Organised, reliable, and confident managing a shift Comfortable handling bookings and working with the GM on basic admin (experience with booking systems is a plus) Proven bar experience -- confident with both a pint pull and a wine menu; cocktail knowledge is desirable. Someone who's as happy chatting with locals as they are on a busy Saturday night - creating a great gastropub experience Barista experience is a plus, but we can show you the ropes if required Someone with a positive, 'can-do' attitude, who's a team player and happy to muck in and help wherever needed Flexible availability, particularly evenings and weekends. Basic Food Handling qualification is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.50-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 32 per week
