We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our vibrant establishment here at Angelina's Restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, culinary arts, and team leadership. This role requires a proactive approach to ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining food safety standards, and managing staff effectively. The Restaurant Supervisor will be instrumental in creating a welcoming environment that promotes teamwork and culinary excellence.
Duties
Supervise and coordinate all restaurant activities to ensure smooth operations
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to uphold quality standards
Manage staff schedules, assign duties, and monitor performance to foster a motivated team
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene
Assist in food production and kitchen management, supporting chefs and kitchen staff as needed
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly
Organise training sessions for staff on hospitality best practices and food safety protocols
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control efficiently
Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing clientele
Uphold the organisation's reputation by ensuring excellent service delivery at all times
Experience
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
Extensive restaurant experience with a strong understanding of food preparation, cooking, and serving techniques
Demonstrable leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams in fast-paced settings
Knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes
Background in culinary arts or kitchen experience is highly desirable
Previous hotel or barista experience is advantageous but not essential
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
