We are seeking a motivated and experienced Restaurant Team Leader to oversee daily operations within our vibrant dining establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Duties
Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and support team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met
Manage daily operational tasks such as opening and closing procedures, stock control, and cleanliness standards
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
Assist in training new staff members and providing ongoing coaching to enhance team performance
Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure timely food production and service delivery
Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and support professional development initiatives
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong supervisory experience with demonstrated team management skills
Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire staff
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food production
Experience in serving customers with professionalism and hospitality skills
Familiarity with restaurant operations, including food presentation, service procedures, and hospitality etiquette
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good organisational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
Previous experience in culinary roles such as chef or barista is advantageous but not essential
