We have two restaurants offering different styles and cuisines:


Eve is our Italian restaurant offering authentic Italian dishes served with our home made pasta where an informal environment is met with professional and anticipatory service that leaves a lasting impression. We host regular pasta making masterclasses as well as cheese and wine pairing classes and a host of other events that make Eve a unique restaurant where no two days are the same. If you enjoy a fast paced environment where one day you might be running a restaurant section and the next serving canapes at a wedding reception, then you will thrive at Eve.


At the other end of the hotel sits the Commons Club restaurant. Our Scottish brasserie serves up the finest of locally sourced Scottish ingredients pulled together in dishes that are combined with our professional and warm service that help create a gastronomic experience that exceeds everyone's expectations. Here guests can unwind and delight in local dishes or opt for our Chef's Table tasting menu.

The Details:

What exactly you will be doing...

Learn and retain food beverage and full menu knowledge Take and deliver food and beverage orders Use excellent communication skills with guests, staff including verbal, written and body language Maintain a clean, hygienic and organized work environment including stocking of supplies, polishing cutlery/glassware, folding napkins, cleaning menus, sanitizing tables, etc. Clear tables, carry plates to dishwashing area The waiter must execute fabulous guest service that anticipates guests needs The waiter must be able to use their food and beverage knowledge to make beverage suggestions based on taste and food choices Ensure all guests and tables in your section are looked after and regularly checked on Prepare basic, beverages such as coffee, water, iced tea, wine, spirits, etc. Enthusiastically describe details of food dishes and beverages at time of delivery to guests Support departmental targets with upselling and promotions Be a team player!

Background must-have:

Current right to work in The United Kingdom High school or equivalent education required. Preferred: 1-2 years' experience as a waiter in a full service hospitality establishment Experience within a hotel setting will be an added advantage
