Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team in the hospitality industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring that every dining experience is memorable. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting guests with any inquiries they may have. Your ability to manage time effectively while upselling menu items will contribute significantly to the overall success of our establishment.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude. Take accurate food and drink orders using a POS system. Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables and service stations. Respond promptly to guest requests and provide assistance as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation. Handle basic maths calculations for billing purposes accurately.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Excellent guest service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience. Basic culinary knowledge is an advantage, along with an understanding of food safety practices. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A proactive attitude towards helping guests and team members alike.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 7.50-12.21 per hour
