Duties

Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism. Take accurate food and drink orders while providing recommendations and upselling menu items. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring that all orders are correct and presented beautifully. Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer any guest inquiries. Ensure compliance with food safety standards during food preparation and service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests from guests. Clear tables efficiently while maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Handle payments accurately using basic math skills for cash transactions. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure all guests receive attentive service.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a background in serving or culinary roles being advantageous. Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Basic knowledge of food safety practices and procedures. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required. Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Pay: 12.21-16.37 per hour
