Marimba, a family run chocolate business, is opening in Saffron Walden for Spring 2025!

This exciting new Cocoa House and retail shop is in need of an experienced retail and Barista manager.

The Marimba Cocoa House will be situated in the centre of town, just off the market square, and is looking for a professional sales and customer service manager to join the team.

You'll be assisting in the smooth operation and day to day running of the store and guiding customers through extensive chocolate ranges, taking charge of the social media and crafting beautiful chocolate drinks and coffee as part of a Barista service.

You'll be used to managing and quality assuring a small, friendly, team and assisting with hire and discipline procedures.

You'll be confident, computer literate and have a keen eye for detail. As the focal point for organising the Saffron Walden team you'll have strong communication skills, be able to resolve issues with staff or customers quickly and confidently and have excellent customer service skills.

The job will include a mix of weekday and weekend shifts, including Sundays. This is on a rota pattern working either a Saturday or Sunday per week, with one full weekend off in every three weeks.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.

Salary: 13.21 per hour, working 38-42 hours per week.
