Harlow store
to a brand-new concept, designed to give customers a more hands-on, engaging shopping experience. This refreshed approach is now being rolled out to our upcoming
Chelmsford store
, and we'll soon be updating our long-standing
Walthamstow branch
to match.
To support this next stage of growth, we're looking for a
Retail Area Manager
who's ready to drive retail standards, support and develop our store leadership teams, and help shape the future of ITS retail.
What You'll Be Doing
As our
Retail Area Manager
, you'll play a key role in maintaining and elevating the standards across all our stores as we grow. Working in close partnership with our store managers, you'll ensure each site consistently delivers an outstanding customer experience - both front and back of house.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Monitoring and maintaining high standards
across health & safety, compliance, customer service, merchandising, store organisation, and overall store appearance
Supporting and coaching store managers
, helping them deliver excellence across their teams and day-to-day operations
Acting as the
central link between stores and Head Office departments
, including:
Buying
- ensuring successful rollouts of new product ranges and store displays
Marketing
- coordinating in-store promotional launches and effective POS deployment
Working closely with the
Commercial Manager and Buying teams
to:
Monitor and improve
stock accuracy
Maintain the right
stock profiles and inventory levels
for each store
Helping to implement and embed our
new concept store model
across existing and future locations
Leading and refining
training programmes
to ensure teams are well-equipped, confident, and customer-focused
Identifying and driving
operational efficiencies
, including staffing structures, rota planning, and logistical workflows
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
Has experience overseeing or supporting
multi-site retail operations
Is a strong people leader, confident coaching
store managers
and helping them grow
Has a track record of driving
commercial performance
through high standards and smart planning
Is passionate about
staff development and training
Thrives in a fast-moving, customer-focused environment
Is flexible and proactive
Full driving licence and willingness to travel regularly
Lives within easy reach of
Harlow, Chelmsford, and Walthamstow
