About The Role

We are looking for someone who loves working with pre-loved items and has the ability to go the extra mile to deliver excellence in customer service. Under the guidance of management, you will ensure appropriate stock is identified for Clearance and priced accordingly, and that customers are supported at all times to maximise sales and ensure a great customer experience.



A good understanding of the value of second-hand stock ranging from furniture to clothing is desired. You will champion gift aid and lottery sales and look for every opportunity to maximise profit for hospice care. You will need to be flexible and adaptable, ready to accept and work with different stock, jump on the till, help a customer to find the perfect purchase or signpost a supporter to understand more about the Hospice. You will have opportunity to set up and run large sales or other ad hoc events in the Clearance shop as per business need. If you have a passion for working with pre-loved goods and enjoy working with the public, we'd love to hear from you. You will be an ambassador for St Michael's at all times. A full driving licence with use of a car is recommended to access each retail location and attend meetings.



This role is 30 hours over 4 days a week which may include weekend work. This includes two days preparing stock and two sales days open to the public.
