As a Butcher, you will be responsible for preparing various cuts of meat, ensuring that all products meet our strict quality standards while maintaining a clean and organised work environment.

Duties

Prepare and cut meat according to specifications, ensuring precision and attention to detail. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the preparation process. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, including knives, saws, and grinders safely. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and service. Monitor inventory levels of meat products and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen environment. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about meat products and preparation methods.

Requirements

Previous experience as a butcher or in a similar role within the restaurant or food production industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and culinary techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cuts of meat. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. A commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area.
