Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and supervise the department team to achieve sales targets and operational goals.
Manage day-to-day store operations, including stock management, merchandising, and visual presentation.
Develop and implement sales strategies to maximise revenue growth whilst maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Oversee staff scheduling, training programmes, and performance appraisals to ensure a high-performing team.
Maintain effective communication with staff and management to ensure smooth operational flow.
Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock replenishment, and ensure accurate stock control procedures are followed.
Organise promotional activities and merchandising displays to attract customers and increase sales.
Uphold organisational policies, health & safety standards, and compliance regulations at all times.
Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly with professionalism and courtesy.
Analyse sales data and prepare reports to inform strategic decision-making.
Requirements
Proven management experience within retail or sales environments, with a focus on team supervision.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams effectively.
Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail in merchandising and administrative tasks.
Effective communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous for engaging a diverse clientele.
Demonstrated ability in sales management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Experience in supervising staff schedules, training programmes, and performance evaluations.
Proficiency in organisational tools such as POS systems, inventory management software, and MS Office Suite.
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently under pressure.
