Retail & Hospitality Management Programme - Build Your Career in Food & People

Starting Salary:

12 - 13 per hour, plus staff discounts and pension contributions, with progression to 15 - 16 per hour as you develop through the programme.

Full Time (includes days, evenings, and alternate weekends)

What You'll Bring

Your Development Journey



Stage 1: Everyday Service



Learn front-of-house operations. Build customer service fundamentals. Master product preparation and serving standards. Manage queues effectively.

Stage 2: Day-to-Day Logistics



Understand operational foundations for smooth service. Learn stock systems and replenishment processes. Maintain cleaning procedures and hygiene standards.

Stage 3: Supervisory Operations



Organise and lead a team on shift. Troubleshoot operational and team issues. Prioritise tasks for efficiency. Complete store closing procedures.

Stage 4: Leading a Day



Open the store and prepare for trade. Organise the team and delegate effectively. Create and allocate tasks. Analyse team performance and provide feedback. Learn the basics of people management. Understand rota management and cashing-up procedures.

Stage 5: Leading a Week



Plan and forecast operational needs. Manage rota schedules in advance. Order stock and communicate with suppliers.

Stage 6: Managing Your Team



Develop people management and coaching skills. Analyse team performance to drive improvement. Set learning and development goals for yourself and others.
