Application question(s):

Would finishing your shift at 10pm work for you? What motivates you to work in a convenience shop? Let's say you wake up feeling unwell on a workday. What do you do? Where do you see yourself in six months? If you realise you're going to be 10 minutes late, what do you do? If a customer comes in right at closing time, what do you do? If two customers are waiting at the till, the phone is ringing, and a delivery arrives at the same time, what's the first thing you do? If your till is 5 over at the end of the day, what do you do? Imagine this happens: It's your shift today. You wake up feeling a little bit unwell, but not too bad. Your bus is running late, and you realise you'll probably be 10 minutes late to work. On the way, your phone rings -- it's me, the shop owner, saying another staff member has called in sick for the afternoon, and asking if you can stay on for an extra two hours. While you're thinking about that, a close friend texts you saying they'll pop in to see you at work, and jokingly asks if you can give them a 'special price' on their snacks. How would you handle all of this?
