In this you will:



Partner with leading retailers and brands across all retail categories including grocery, apparel, electronics, homewares and home improvement Work with our clients to bridge and connect business outcomes through innovative and practical solutions Lead and deliver project work focused on retail with the opportunity to work across other consumer industries e.g. consumer goods and travel Take end-to-end responsibility for project delivery; leading project approach, delivery and management Proactively manage clients, expectations, and team members Manage team members and their work; guiding, coaching, refining and iterating, taking accountability for output whilst still giving others responsibility for completing the work Build credibility as an expert with the client, based on effective discussions, creative solutions, and solid delivery Lead client relationships; to support delivery and develop new opportunities Use your knowledge of key trends and drivers in the industry including market, customers, suppliers and competitors to add to project delivery Play a leading in business development, including proposals and thought leadership, working closely with the practice Managing Directors and Senior Managers
Play a leading in team development; coaching our team members, leading training sessions and being a part of our active social community

We are looking for experience in the following skills:



Proven track record of delivering projects and creating business value Experience leading consulting engagements and/or complex transformation programs in a retailer Deep experience and understanding of how technology, data and AI unlock business value for retailers Ability to quickly grasp, analyse and solve complex problems Ability to architect projects; approach, delivery and management
Ability to play a lead in the origination of new work and the sales process Lead commercial management of consulting engagements Ability to form strong client relationships particularly at the senior levels Ability to structure ideas and solutions, to communicate clearly and concisely Ability to develop new concepts and break-through thinking Excellent written, oral and presentation communication skills Build and manage high-performing teams and undertake People Lead (career counselling) responsibilities


Set yourself apart:



8+ years in Strategy consulting, Consulting and/or project delivery experience in the Retail industry including: delivery to agreed scope, time scales and budgets Functional experience in one or more of Stores (experience design, operating model transformation, labour model, standards and optimisation, omni-channel, fulfilment); Supply Chain (B2C, B2B fulfilment, demand / supply planning, Warehouse management systems, Intelligent automation, Physical logistics); Merchandising and Product Development (integration commercial planning) Experience developing business strategy and translating it into business outcomes Deep Functional expertise in technology, digital disruption, future trends and/or innovation Data fluency - data driven, analytical and logical thinking skills needed to help solve our client's biggest operational challenges Knowledge of Agile ways of working and techniques (e.g. Design Thinking) Ability to handle challenging and complex client situations and emerge with a positive resolution for both client and company
