Role Purpose:

We're looking for a hands-on, creative, and commercially savvy Onsite Media Manager to take ownership of our onsite retail media activity. You'll make sure every campaign hits the mark on time, on brand, and performing brilliantly.

Campaign Delivery & Execution



Own the end-to-end delivery of onsite campaigns across our owned platforms making sure they're impactful for both customers and advertisers. Manage creative approvals, ensuring everything looks and feels accessible, high-quality, and on-brand. Launch & lead our B&Q Media managed service offering.

Cross-

Functional Collaboration



Collaborate closely with Campaigns, Promotions, and Merchandising to unlock opportunities for retail media as a core part of our own B&Q campaigns. Create seasonal selling packs to support Partnerships teams in media planning conversations. Work with Partnerships Managers and Offsite & Instore Media Managers to ensure campaigns are consistent and connected across the customer journey. Work with data and insights teams to understand customer segments and ensure campaigns are personalised and targeted effectively. Work with analytics and our tech partners to audit reporting against iAB standards and work towards full accreditation

Optimisation, Performance & Innovation



Work with data analysts to further develop existing forecasting dashboards to support media planning. Design & implement an Optimisation & benchmark framework to ensure pro-active recommendations are made to advertisers to improve campaigns in-line with KPIs. Lead test & learn initiatives to measure creative effectiveness and improve conversion. Work with the Advertising Lead, Project Manager and Self-serve growth Managers to expand our onsite media formats and ensure they are tested and launched successfully once tech-ready.

Commercial & Partnerships



Collaborate with Partnerships Managers to maximise sell-through of onsite inventory and shape new opportunities. Manage relationships with key partners (e.g., Brandswap, Epsilon, Unlimitail) and optimise activity for peak performance.

People Leadership & Enablement



Support training and enablement led by the Self-serve Growth Manager, e.g. collaborating on webinars, surfacing content for how to guides, and wider comms & engagements plan requirements. Lead training and education of Partnerships team on use cases of new ad formats. Line manage Advertising Executives, coaching them to deliver campaigns brilliantly and supporting their development.

Required Skills & Experience:



Digital marketing or retail media experience with a strong track record of running multi-channel campaigns is essential. Experience managing or mentoring a junior team member is nice to have. Comfortable working with data and campaign platforms (GA4, BI dashboards, Excel, ad servers). Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills. Highly organised, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, growing team. Creative flair with attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality campaigns
