to join our brand-new appliance store in Scarborough town centre. This is a varied role where you'll work on the shop floor with customers, as well as manage product listings and online sales. You'll be part of a small, friendly team and play an important part in the store's success.
Welcome customers and assist with enquiries in a friendly, professional way
Provide product information and make recommendations
Keep the shop tidy, organized, and well-stocked
Assist with bookings for deliveries and repair jobs
Help move or load appliances when needed
Online & Admin
List products on eBay, our website, and social media platforms
Manage and update online listings to ensure accuracy and visibility
Respond to customer enquiries received online
Support with basic admin tasks such as stock updates and order records
Requirements:
Previous customer service or retail experience (minimum 3 years preferred)
Confident PC skills (MS Word, Excel, online platforms)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Friendly, approachable, and eager to learn
Physically fit enough to help move appliances safely when required
